The Best Pizza Ever

I had the most delectable pizza for lunch today.

It's vegan, of course. Mellow Mushroom allows you to customize all sorts of things about your pizza. I chose vegan cheese (Daiya), as well as added avocado and bbq tofu.

Since I don't cook right now, I'm very thankful that there's a place where I can get vegan pizza that tastes so terrific. It was just so delicious that I thought it deserved its own blog entry.

Of course, because few things can ever be perfect, I did see a van in the parking lot that had dogs inside. Since it was almost 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside, I was very worried that the dogs would overheat. I was about to call for help for the darlings when a man came outside and promised that they had a special air conditioning in the van. It seemed to be true, so we shook hands as friends; the misunderstanding was cleared. There are extreme dangers to leaving dogs alone in cars, as this article and many reported situations prove. Dogs left in overheating cars could die in the most horrific way.

So, I am very glad that I said something, and I'm even happier that it turned out alright.
